The Outside Lands Music and Arts Festival is a music festival held annually in San Francisco, California, at Gilded Gate Park. The get-go festival occurred in 2008, and included over sixty musical acts from around the world, as well as several art installations.

Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem appeared at the Exterior Lands in 2016 during the festival which ran from August fifth to August seventh. The band's advent took place on August 7th at 4PM PT and lasted roughly 24 minutes. Other featured artists include Radiohead, Lionel Richie, Duran Duran, Third Middle Blind, and Sufjan Stevens.

The concert was live-streamed on the Outside Lands website too every bit through the go90 app. Before the concert, Dr. Teeth had a brief interview with Yahoo![1] Later on the concert, Animal and Floyd appeared in one case more in a roughly 10-minute interview department betwixt Kehlani's and Gamble the Rapper's performances.

Behind the scenes

The thought for the Mayhem's functioning was initially pitched to Kyle Laughlin past a friend working for the festival. To aid the Muppet performers (clad in black during the entire functioning) sustain their artillery in the air, a special harness was devised for the show.[3]

Discourse Films was heavily involved in the production of the performance, designing the prepare and producing taped and blithe graphics to be played onscreen during the performance.[four] Much of the footage produced for the video screens was repurposed, with slight modifications, for the Electric Commotion's sets during The Muppets Take the Basin and The Muppets Accept the O2.

Bated from the 6 main Muppet performers, additional performers for this advent were Julianne Buescher, Tim Lagasse, Mike Quinn, Alice Dinnean, Michelan Sisti, and Kevin Carlson.[five]

In addition to travelling in their rainbow-hued bus, The Electrical Commotion is the firm ring for Up Late with Miss Piggy, featured on the primetime ABC television series the muppets.

The Mayhem, as they are known among Mayhem-heads, features: Dr. Teeth – Keyboardist and head groove master; absotively possolutely the founder and fearless leader of the ring, Animal – Dynamic drummer and powerhouse percussionist, known for iii styles of play: loud, louder and deafening, Janice – Lead guitarist, resident flower child and astral projectionist, Sgt. Floyd Pepper – Bass guitarist, Brute's handler and connoisseur of absurd, Zoot – Shade-wearing saxophonist who doesn't say much and Lips – Trumpet virtuoso known for his jazzy brass and talking even less than Zoot."

Notes

  • When introducing "Ophelia," the band members list the names of the performer's wives, including Caren (Rudman), Kelly (Vogel), Debbie (Goelz), Melissa (Whitmire), Cristina (Barretta) and Mary (Jacobson).
